Pork is the culinary name for the meat of the domestic pig, which is eaten in many countries. Pork is eaten in several forms, mostly freshly cooked meat. Pork can also come in different forms such as cured (some hams, including the Italian prosciutto) or smoked or a combination of these methods (other hams, gammon, bacon or pancetta).
